- Karela – bitter gourd
Pick neem or karela, wash and soak in water for 10 minutes, add a pinch of salt, squeeze some lemon juice and add 1 teaspoon of honey to it and blend it! Your healthy smoothie is ready! Trust me it tastes yummy!
How you will benefit from this treat?
- It will reduce your craving for food at all time
- It will diminish the amount of insulin/ sugar in your blood
- It will help you in losing weight…
However, taking too much of Neem or Karela juice at once can reduce your sugar level in your blood that can lead to headache, dizziness, drop in blood pressure and others…so do consult your doc, if you doubt that might happen!
