If it’s too much of hair for you, know that hair is an important aspect of the proper functioning of the body – for man and other living creatures as well.
Hair protects from cold and regulates the body temperature. So when you have goose bumps, it means that the hair on your body is trying to trap heat. Similarly, when your hair lie flat on your skin it means the opposite action; your body is allowing heat to leave.
Like the flapping wings of airplanes!
Hair also acts as a communicator and warner; it can sense movements of air and that is why we can feel the presence of someone approaching from a little distance. Amazing right!
Eyebrows & Eyelashes
Eyebrows and eyelashes are not only essential part of the facial beauty; but they protect the eyes from dirt and harmful sun rays. They communicate the feelings and emotions of people.
Similarly, nasal hair acts as filters as we inhale to protect harmful germs from getting into our system. Additionally it provides us with moisture in the air that we breathe. Thus, should we remove nasal hair? Some trimming and thinning can be done but do not overdo its removal especially if you suffer from allergies, asthma and other respiratory complications.
Ears! Have you got a bunch of hair on your ears? While for some people hair can be part of their body system and genetics, a bunch of hair does not exactly mean a good thing! It could be simply due to nutrition or some medications. Other causes can be disorders of metabolic system, abnormalities of the adrenal glands and ovaries, or an infection. However, researchers have even associated bunch of hair around the ear as related to heart and artery diseases.
Another sign that can detect heart diseases is having a creased lobe.
Moustache & Beard -
Now tell me you knew that!
It is not only about the actual fashion trend for men; moustache and beard help decrease the direct Ultra Violet radiation onto your skin and thus protects you from skin cancer! In cold weather, the facial hair acts as a thermal protection and even safeguards you from throat infection. Similarly beards defend against toxic exposures. If you are an asthmatic person, do not shave off that beard, it filters toxins from entering your mouth, your throat and lungs.
But we have been talking about male moustache and beard. Ladies, if you have these bunches of hair, you might be suffering from hormonal issues. Watch your nutrition and see your doctor.
So we understand that hair on any part of the body do have its purpose and importance. What about the armpit or pubic hair? It may not be a good idea to keep your hair in those regions. Hygiene is important! Hair should be trimmed, cleaned and well groomed! And dandruff? Egg and Lemon can do the cleaning…
