Woodwind Family

Woodwind + Electronic

Woodwind instruments emit sounds when air is blown into them. Woodwind instruments are popularly known as flute, Clarinet, Piccolo or Bansuri. Electronic instruments are those which functions using electronic interface / technology is included. The sound, pitch, frequency, or duration of each note is controlled electronically. Electronic instruments use electronic keyboard. Play the graph on your left to hear the sounds that these devices actually make when played together.

Synth + Electronic

The same musical keys as above have been used this time using Synth and Electronic. See the difference? Synth is a short form for Synthesizer. It is an electronic musical instrument that can generate any sound made with a traditional instrument. “Synthesizer usually refers to devices designed to explore the sonic possibilities of their sound engines, they can emulate acoustic instruments but are used mainly to generate synthetic sounds.”
